I started to read this book last night reading the prologue and the first 12 pages. So far it has started out with a football team in a school in western Texas in 1988. The team had their first practice and the coach was giving them the lecture on working hard and blah blah blah. The book also started talking about how in the 1880's people from Ohio claimed that this land that the town is on now, was a sacred place.
