I think I am in the home stretch of this one now. It’s been a lot of fun and properly timey-whimey despite the opening being slow. Morris really captures Baker and Ward well. There is a tremendous bit about the Doctor having a field guide for space monsters that he always keeps on his person. So, so fun. I’m gonna be sad when this is over.

The gag of the Doctor doing EVERYONE’s famous last words (much to the visible annoyance of Romana II) as he thinks he’s about to die made me snort really loud. This is the last chapter I think. It’s been so goddamn fun.

I feel like this one is coming to a close. The timey-whimey stuff is getting a little ropey but I’m still having fun with it.

RIP K-9 mk.III (or II, maybe? It’s hard to keep track)

I picked this back up for a Target Break and it’s just gone and “killed” K-9! Plus ALIEN ZOMBIES EVERYwhere! It’s a trip

Okay NOW we are cooking.
We’ve got stoner lizards. We’ve got a real meaty hook with the main plot. AND now we get some real deal time travel nonsense in how the plot’s temporally scattered narrative starts to unfold;starting basically “after the episode” in the opening and then traveling back a day before the events of the book itself. It’s very fun and insane.

I picked this back up (read: restarted it) as it somewhat pertains to some work I’m doing and I guess i forgot how GNARLY the opening is?
Morris also really instantly nails the voices of Romana and the Fourth Doctor. I’m excited to dig into this more. I’m as excited to read this as much as I’m NOT excited to try and power through Timewrym #1
