Penelope B. Schwartzbaum tells the story. I think she is the best person to tell the story. This is because the book describes her life. It describes how she feels towards her friends, how she feels towards her family, and it describes how she reacts to it when she encounters trouble. I don't think anyone else would have told the story better because it's not from their point of view.

Adding on, maybe there's something on their minds that causes them to think differently. I think Penelope misses spending quality time with her parents, because they're always busy. I think that's why she is constanty fighting with Nathaniel

13-year old Penelope is having problems with her 8-year old brother Nathaniel. She keeps on having fights with him. This relates to me because I've been in similar situations with my older brother. He annoys me, and he knows I don't like it. I still have some arguments with my brother, but usually we get along now that we're older. I think what Penelope and Nathaniel need to do talk to each other.
