@Isabelle: For some reason I'm not super interested in Six of Crows but I AM in King of Scars xD I guess I shall need to try this out first and see if I like/can stay with Bardugo's style...
@CC if I didn’t know Leigh Bardugo wrote both S&B and SoC, I would never have guessed it was the same author bc the style is so different (and SoC is MUCH better 😂) I too really want to read King of Scars, but I’ve heard it really doesn’t make sense without S&B (hence I is reading it now lol) and one of the MCs of SoC is a MC of KoS. even if u skip SoC now, I would still recommend reading it later because it is AMAZING and no other Grishaverse series can ever compare :) ❤️❤️

I was trying to convey above that I figured out that I should probably just read the entire thing... but I'm hoping to really enjoy Bardugo's style in S&B so I have the interest to keep reading through SoC! ;) But thanks for the warning! I typically don't like it too much when authors change styles... esp. of it's in the vein that I really love, but I can see how they'd want to change things up a bit. We shall see then!
