[On Chart of Meridians and Points] "It looked as though a human body were converted into a subway map. Two parallel lines, one red and another blue, ran up and down east and west side of the body, making stops at all the key nerve centers. When the accupunturist put a needle in my West 96th Street Station and another one in my East 59th Street stop, my rush hour seemed to vanish and I felt a wonderful calm."
