Six chapters in and I am b-o-r-e-d. To be fair, military themes are a hard sell for me to begin with. Something about the relationships and writing all just seem to remind me they are fictional characters, not real people. Not falling into it. Bummer.

Captivating opening, but gaining speed going downhill. Needs an editor. Shane told them Kyle died a year ago and then not much further along, Reed says he doesn't know how long ago Kyle died. Unless he didn't believe him...? Also, the whole flashback Keith has starring him and Bobby? So not interesting. Bobby sounds like an overbearing, too confident jackass. I am mildly interested still, so onward.
