I am now really enjoying this book as more and more baseball has come into it. Papa is now pitching in the minors and is getting many good outings. The boys are playing high school baseball while Momma has sort of disappeared from the picture. All in all I am now really enjoying this book and I can't wait to continue reading it.

I have begun to enjoy this book more and more as it has consisted of more baseball in the past couple of chapters. Papa has begun to pitch again into the shed and the boys have been given no only their Religious independence from Mama, but the three boys now govern their own lives and do everything that their Mama has been doing for them for their entire lives.

I have enjoyed the baseball aspects of this book, however I have found the book as a whole to be very slow moving.
