It was the final of his trial and after all the diagnosis he was sane. Even though he had necrophilia he knew wrong from right and still went ahead to commit these murders. A complex personality like his was difficult to analyze because you don’t know what he’s thinking.

Many experts continued to try and figure out if Dahmer really did have a mental illness. There was several experts who examined him and a handful said that he did Not have an illness but there were a few who said that he did have one so it was difficult to determine.

Dahmer seemed to be angry at himself for being homosexual and often wanted to take that part of him away and would take the anger out on people that he killed. There had been sayings about him where they said he was a cannibal and ate his victims and how he was very similar to mythological stories.

People now took stand against dahmer. Some of the people that came up to talk was Eddies family. Eddie was a man who had tried his hardest to be friends with dahmer. Eddies mom called him out asking if it was thrilling to know that she could speak up. He was called a thief by eddies brother because of how he stole his brothers life.

A new dr that was called up to the stand in trial had revealed some other things about dahmer that most did not know. He said that dahmer had a moment where he had wanted to attempt to attach an electrical wire and plug it into a socket while inside a humans brain because he wanted to see if that preserved them. They believed that he was superstitious because of how he believed he could create a zombie on his own.

In court there was a doctor that spoke up about dahmers mental issues and said a surprising theory for dahmer. He had said that id dahmer wouldve been able to actually create a zombie out of someone then he wouldve stopped killing but this was shot down because saying this is also saying that he doesnt have necrophilia which is what they were trying to prove that hes into.

Dahmers probation officer and many other who looked over him had to say if they thought he seemed ill. They had said no and that he seemed fine and had no signs if mental illness to them.

Dahmer was set to be able to go to trial since he was not diagnosed with no mental illness that would prevent him from being able to. An interesting thing that I found out was that he did not kill for sexual pleasure but he did it more as a way to keep them still or when they wake up and get angry with him, that’s when he would kill them and try to preserve them.

Dahmer has been known to have necrophilia which is the attraction to lifeless things and in his case its the lifeless bodies of his victims.He often had fantasies about murdering people.

Dahmers trial had some photos that were shown in court. The lawyer showed various photos of the innocent victims that were murdered by dahmer. They showed these photos not to try to make them feel bad but to show which lives have been taken and what kind of monster took them.
