I'm almost thinking of quitting this book because I absolutely cannot STAND all of the stupid mistakes. And the characters have no personality.. Except for the mom, I suppose, who obviously has anxiety or OCD or both. But we're not really given a reason why she became this way. We know the boys' father left, but there's really no connection. I'm sticking around for the pedophile to be honest.
