Issue #3:
(1) I'm really gaining an appreciation for this art style. It reminds me sort of like a cross between Sean Gordon Murphy and Wes Craig.
- Really, in-between the two: not as exaggerated as Craig and not as intricate as Murphy. They all do a similar sketchy, cartoony style with sharp faces and flattish colors.
(2) I this town, the mob actually does carry pitchforks.

Issue #5:
(1) On one hand, this issue is exciting, well-written, and makes me eager to continue. On the other hand, it doesn't feel like the end of a volume, it feels like a bathroom break.
(2) It's a cliché in police dramas for the feds to hijack the investigation from the locals.
- Frankly, with a small town known for murder, I'm shocked the feds are only intervening now.

Issue #4:
(1) The Heisenberg wanted poster from "Breaking Bad" is pinned to the police bulletin board.
- I always enjoy a good Easter egg. There's another one right beside it, but I have no idea where that wanted poster's from.
(2) To me, the most interesting character is the teenage girl, Alice.
- She's sort of like a trickster character. I'm eager to learn more about her.

Issue #2:
(1) The small town here's a textbook case of "Cabot Cove syndrome." Cabot Cove being the hamlet in "Murder, She Wrote" where locals murdered each other every week.
- This town's whole thing is it's a serial killer factory.
(2) One of the things I enjoy about the small town mystery genre is everyone of an age grew up with each other.
- There's automatically layers.

Issue #1:
(1) I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. Though, considering the only other Williamson I've read have been a Ninja Turtles short story, a Craftsman Tools comic and a Subway comic, I shouldn't be too shocked.
(2) Mike Henderson also did art on the Ninja Turtles story Williamson wrote.
- Wonder if that's how they met, and got the idea to do this book?
