I've been waiting for something to happen. I'm finally to a point where there's a little bit going on.

This is my commute book. I'm hoping to be finished with it this week as I've got two eagerly anticipated audiobooks ready to take it's place (and no it's not the next in the Inkheart trilogy, though that's waiting too - albeit much more patiently) :)

I'm entertained, though it's most definitely a children's book. The "twists" are a little too obvious.
Also, Cornelia Funke needs to relax on the similes & metaphors. Sometimes a simple description is enough. A sad person, doesn't need to be as sad as a dog w/o a bone. Especially when the metaphor contains the word you're comparing it to. I realize that probably has something to do with the translation, but still!

Finished up disc 6 on the way back from the Turkey Trot this morning. A nice commute book, visually stunning in it's descriptions. I really need to get my hands on the DVD (though, um Paul Bettany should totally be Capricorn, NOT Dustfinger. That's just wrong!)

Just started Disc 4 on the way in to work. It's funny because even after 3 discs, I still have not acutally learned what is printed on the back of the book!

just started in on disc 2 - there's quite a bit of set up, which I guess is to be expected. So far so good. I'm really enjoying the reader, Lynn Redgrave I do believe (secretly can't wait to start book 2, when Brendan Fraser takes over!)
