This book compares 3 versions of the Satipatthana sutta. As well as the Majjhima Nikaya version, there is also 2 versions from the Chinese - from the Madhyama agama and from the Ekottarika agama. All 3 come from different schools of early Buddhism. He goes into detail of the differences between the 3 versions, but although it is very detailed, it also has a lot of useful things, and many things to think about.
