I read 62 minutes of this book this week. Bob Ewell tried to kill Jem and Scout, but they were saved by Boo Radley who killed Bob Ewell. Good book, too much homework.

I read for 247 minutes over the past two weeks. Tom Robinson is brought to trail and wrongly convicted.
I think it's a definitely a good book, and I would enjoy reading it if I didn't have to read three chapters a night. I'm a little annoyed at how it is graded. I almost always do the reading and I understand it, but sometimes I don't get around to the comprehension questions, so I'll get a bad grade.

I read this book for an extra 45 minutes making a total of 105 minutes this week. I like it because the themes are good. Atticus shoots a rabid dog and tells Scout and Jem not to shoot mockingbirds. Mrs. Dubose says something about Atticus making Jem mad. Jem gets in trouble and has to read to Mrs. Dubose who is going through withdrawal from her morphine addiction. She dies at the end of the chapter.

I read this book for 60 minutes this week. Jem and Scout finds more things in the tree and is going to write a letter to the owner of them, but Mr. Radley put cement in the hole. Miss Maudie's house catches on fire, Boo Radley puts a blanket on Scout, the Finches celebrate Christmas together, and Atticus gets a controversial case. I'm not enjoying the book as much as I did because of all the homework we have to do.

I read for 110 minutes. Right now Dill, Scout, and Jem are trying to make Boo Radley come out of his house but it gets dangerous when Nathan Radley tries to shoot them for snooping around the house. At first I didn't like it, but I'm beginning to like it more because it is getting exciting. I don't like all the comprehension questions and vocab homework though. I think we have plenty of homework already.
