The Hero of His Own Story -
Split into two parts, we learn the origins of Whistler and Pearl & Nash!
I liked what they did with Whistler's origin. Makes sense why he’s been doing what he’s done. Also liked Angel’s assumption of his current state of mind.
Not sure how I feel about Pearl & Nash’s story. I sort of get what they were trying to go for but unsure if it works in practice.

Issue #14 -
I like that Dark Willow showed up. It makes sense given where the characters were and how it affects people.
I did NOT like how they got Will to chill plus that bit with Angel…
It felt rushed, over too quick to get actual closure.
It was nice how Angel & Connor’s relationship developed through these last few issues. I’m hoping to see more of it!
Some Slayer stuff going down in London(town)...

Issue #13 -
Being the heroes they are, Angel, Faith, Willow & Connor could NOT leave those dog demons behind.
And bc it’s Buffyverse, everything goes sideways…
Fun fact; Quor’toth is named after an Old One… who does NOT like what Connor inspired.
Meanwhile, Whistler, Pearl & Nash are getting close to their ultimate goal?
I like what they’ve done with Will. Not quite but similar to what they did with Faith…

Quor’toth! Connor was raised there by Holtz to become The Destroyer.
It's been centuries but the natives haven't forgotten him…
Connor sounds better this ish which I appreciate!
I don’t like how well the demons can speak English.
In his absence, Connor has become saviour to some, devil to others.
Followers plead for their brothers to be rescued… which of course he (& the others) can’t say ‘no’ to!

Willow & Angel have a complicated relationship right now. They both… dislike each other but still kid around?
They have agreed to help each other. Unfortunately, Willow needs Angel’s help to reach… Connor!
Shame Connor doesn’t sound like himself but I could chalk that up to him being a college student now.
Plus Gunn's back! Although, every other character is heading to… *spoilers* Quor’toth!
