The Facts in the Case of Mr. Valdemar is my favorite of Poe’s so far. I love the fact that original readers were led to believe the story was factual. I can see how terrifying that would be, and honestly, the story is pretty creepy still knowing that it’s fiction.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this rendition of Fall of the House of Usher. It was too quick and lacked detail. Also, the modernization of it just didn’t work for me.
