Dill doesn't come to Maycomb this year, and Cal brings the kids to her church and they learn Bob Ewell was the person who accused Tom. Aunt Alexandra comes to visit the Finch's and is very proud of their family. Alexandra tries to get Cal fired, and Scout finds Dill under her bed. Alexandra and Atticus fight about the trial. All 3 kids follow Atticus to the jail and asks Mr. C to tell Walter "hey" and the men leave.

Miss Maudie tells Scout Boo is alive. Dill and Jem tried to give a note to Boo but Atticus caught them. The kids peek into the Radley house and see a man's shadow. A shotgun goes off and they escape. Jem's pants got stuck under the fence. When Jem goes back to get his pants they are neatly hung by Boo. Miss Maudie's house catches on fire and Boo slips a blanket onto Scout. Kids at school call Attcus names to Scout.

Scout finds a piece of tinfoil in a knothole in the Radley's yard and picks it up. It turns out to be gum, and she chews it.The rest of the school year went by, and when the summer starts Jem, Scout, and Dill create a new game called "Boo Radley" and almost get caught by Atticus playing it. I read for 130 minutes.
