How do i feel about what is happening? I feel that Mikey needs to stand up for himself in the situation he is in and should not take what he's getting. "Five hundred dollars" Jon repeated. "I don't have it, my smashed-up mouth said." "Get it." Shows that Mikey's getting bullied and threatened by Jon.

Explain how what you read relates or reminds you of information that you have learned somewhere else. When i read that Mikey owes Jon Brande $500 for a bag, it made me think about all the stories i've heard growing up about not letting someone take advantage of you like Jon is to Mikey. "Five hundred dollars. That was what Jon Brande said i owed for losing his bag." Shows that its obvious that Jon's bag isn't $500.

In this book, i understand completely what im reading. I do not feel that i need to reread but something new in the book that i have not experienced yet is meeting a new kid and becoming friends like Mikey and Shayne did on pg. 8 " So, after class, being a friendly and inquisitive type of guy, i followed him into the hall and introduced myself properly."

1) Mikey is acting friendly because Shayne Blank is new to the school and finds him cool and would like to become friends. The sentence "i didn't even know his name, but already i liked him" shows that Mikey likes the new kid "Shayne Blank."
