idk if anyone cares about this here BUT the kdrama The Crowned Clown had me by the THROAT over the entire weekend so if you like political intrigue, angst, slowburn, and a plot that keeps you guessing until the bittersweet end?? go watch it plz so many good "fantasy" (in historical fiction) tropes + some superb acting

I absolutely love that Ha-seon grows up poor and it actually affects his personality throughout the story. He's a very normal person and I mean that in the best way possible. Also his relationship with the queen was so cute???

yesssssss and that he didn't cling to the crown he just did his best and then (wisely) left when he knew it was time. Loved that. Was SO STRESSED at the end tho (you know what part) and was clutching my pillow and chanting "but this is a kdrama it's always happy(ish) at the end" over and over like when I say this show had me STRESSED I mean literally STRESSED
