Realizing how little I care about earth science in this chapter, and how surprisingly much I miss listening about chemistry. So unfortunately, this chapter of the book is kinda slow for me. So far my interest in science goes: Evolutionary Bio > Chemistry > Physics >>>>Environmental Science

Biochemistry, chemistry, and physics turned out to be my favorite sciences. Am I smart enough to study them in college? Absolutely not. But this book was interesting, but unfortunately gets dragged down by the insistence of earth science - which I have grown to despise for no reason. If I reread, I will probably skip those chapters :(

Found out how much I don't like learning about fossils. Turns out, biochemistry is the only interesting science to have fun learning about. I am learning more about myself than I am from the book, and the various STEM avenues I could have gone.

out of the earth science chapters, which means I can enjoy this book now. Why do I hate earth science so much I don't know but that section just made me miserable. And of course, it leads right into evolutionary biology. I also thought I hated plants and fungi, but it actually is a little bit more interesting than I thought.

Way more interested in the history of science aspect instead of the science aspect bc it blows me away to see the great lengths people went to achieve the answers we had for granted. Perhaps the first book that made me want to get my physical book out and just highlight and annotate to remember all these cool facts.

Nonfiction audiobook to supplement my casual reading. Really wanted to continue with non-fiction, but about something happy and not depressing this time around, but also wanted to learn something COMPLETELY different. Didn't know what science to choose from, so why not all of them? Looking forward to listening to this (own the book too, but just wanted to force myself to experience this somehow)
