This one pulled me right in, I'm happy to say. I have also sampled Days of Abandonment, and I feel like this one is quite different. I figured it was time to dive in so I'm not behind on my BTBA reading (which is a futile prospect anyway) and so I'll be ready when the third volume comes out this fall -- so far I think it's worth it.
