Camp Green Lake was closed and the Warden, Ms. Walker, was forced to sell her family's land. The camp will soon be a Girl Scout camp. The suitcase contained some jewels and many valuable deeds and stocks. Stanley and Hector each received almost a million dollars from these finds. Stanley buys his family a house and Hector hires a private investigator to find his mother.

Zero and Stanley become friends and find out that they alot of things in common. from the the family grandparents . Also stanley keeps digging holes but has learned to trick Mr sir and also the others.he doesnt let them bullly him around any longer he stands up for himself. he also has a plan to get out of green lake.

Stanley has toughened up from digging holes every day. he has also changed his character because of all the people around him.the Warden is very cruel to all the boys.because they have not found what she wants.Zigzag seriously hurts Stanley.Mr.Sir takes his time helping Stanely.Zero is Stanleys friend and he finds out that Zero cant read and also didnt know about tv shows.

camp green is a hard place they have the boys going out every day to dig holes in the dessert.Stanley has gone for the first time out to dig and he is so tired. He also learns about the spotted lizard that id it bites you you are dead and he is so worried about it.at the end of the day they go back to the camp to the wreck room to relax but the turth is that everything there is broken and you really dont relax.

Stanley arrives at camp green, he is thirsty. When he get there they give him a uniform to wear it orange like if he was in a regular prison. He also is not as tough as the other kids in camp green.he is told that he will be digging holes every day all day long.Mr, sir is a mean person while mr.Pendanski is kind and helps the boys at the camp.

Stanley goes to Camp Green Lake on a bus with the bus driver and a guard with a gun. He has a backpack with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a box of paper to write to his mom. Stanley makes believe he is going to a rich kids camp. He hopes to make friends there.

I just started reading this book and so far a boy named stanely commits a crime and the judge tells him he can pick jail or the camp. he picks the camp.but the camp is not a nice place. its in the dessert and its hot and no water,and dangerous reptiles.
