A guy named Sadge Merrall went into the unknown regions because he wanted to see if he could find something that would be useful for the city of Ember. Clary seemed very clam when she saw him stumbling out of the unknown regions. I on the other had would be freaking out because its prohibited to go in there and all of a sudden you see someone coming out of there. That's scary.

All the kids from Lina's class got a job to do on assignment day. She got a job that she didn't want, but luckily one of her friends didn't want his job so they switch and ended up getting what they wanted.
