Usually hate teenage romance, but the cringy lovefests are short enough and the personal and philosophical insight long enough to still be an enjoyable read.

Apparently, Japanese is the kind of language that morphs as time passes, leading to inevitably getting different meanings when living in different eras. So I don't know if I 'get' this story, but it has already gotten me hooked and hits at the emotional bits.
