Putting this on hold for a bit while I decide if I want to keep reading. It’s been OK so far (not amazing but not terrible) but as someone sensitive to animal abuse a certain scene really got to me.

understandable.....it was a very good book

It took me about 2/3 of the way into the book to get into it. I’m glad I read it in the end but it took a bit to get into.
