Reminds me, Of Mice and Man, written from Lennie's POV.
Stranger poses a lot of questions about humanity. Simple from start, gets moraly more and more complicated. One major question is: How to build system in which people, who are mentally or emotionally,underdeveloped would find their place in society. I don't think that there are ready answers, but certainly dream about social geniuses solving that problem.
