Actually enjoying this despite the YA tropes early on. It's becoming a lot more of an Alien story now. Also discovered today that this story links to Aliens: Fireteam Elite! That makes me happy.

Huh! I didn't even know that Aliens YA was possible, let alone that it existed. Am very curious. But not enough to spend time on reading it, I'm afraid -- given the fact that I won't even be able to read all the books I own in my remaining lifetime. (There's already quite a bunch of them -- and I read slowly.) But if I had the time and headspace, I'd be interested in how this pans out!
