how is this book? Is it pretty DSM-5-y or more reader friendly?

It's reader friendly for sure! It's the least dsmV-y book I've read in the psych genre. It has lots of "case studies" where there's convos between a therapist and a patient with ADHD.
In my opinion it's way for beginners, like people who know nothing at all about the illness. Not what I was looking for personally, but I can see the appeal of it. I'm probably gonna give it 4 or 5 stars
