I am finding this to be a very good book. If you have accustomed yourself to reading Amish fiction, you will find Saloma's true story a very refreshing change. Her ability to put into writing the description of the awful and strong grip of the community on those that want to leave offers an insight into Amish life that is missing from the fiction I've read. I'm a slow reading, but I can't put this book down.
