During the ongoing hunt for Jack Reacher, FBI Agent Kim Otto makes her way to Mississippi, where Reacher spent his final days in the Army, before he was tossed. While trying to work out what happened to him there, some troubling events take place, including the death of a woman. Was it an accident or something premeditated? Otto divides her time looking at both and begins to wonder if this is another adventure.
