So far, so good. The prologue definitely lets you know that there is a mystery occurring within this story. The chapters to follow are background history, introducing you and allowing you to really get to know the key players. The writing is done so well that even that is at least interesting and keeps you involved.

Still good. I have to say it's not a fast paced story at all. Yet there is something about the writing that just keeps you sucked in, reading, and wanting to continue to see where the story will lead you. I do mean lead you. It's almost as if someone is pulling you along by the hand. Granted you're walking, not running, but it's still an interesting "trip".
