Anna's dad is similar to mine because they are both really close to their daughters and would do anything for them. Also Anna's dad understands her better than her mom like mine.

The main character, Anna, filed a lawsuit against her parents for making her donate her kidney to her sister. She now regrets that decision since it's tearing her whole family apart, including her mom having to move out since there is now a restraining order against her. Anna now is dealing with the outcome of this all.

I can't really connect to this book since I don't have cancer or anyone in my family who does. But, I know what it feels like to not have things be fair in life such as decisions your parents make for you.
