this this THIS is the confusion and turmoil of "fate binds us" thing that just feels so realistic in this book okay okay this is like IPB but make it feel like more of a sci-fi/fantasy book than just mainly romance and smut?? I love it

okay so while I dearly love Ruby Dixon's writing . . . there's not the HEFT to the story that this series has

also it's not as long smutty scenes focusing more on the rescue and their growing relationship vs bangarang time because they must

idk it just feels a little more realistic than IPB???

the world-building in here is nice bc there's more than just two perspectives of the main couple

oop okay glad they didn't go through with the attack

the girls in this book are much more tougher and gritty than the IPB ladies (who I still love) but I think I prefer these type of girls a little more

oop another race of "protect and cherish females in our barbarian way" alien males . . .

I'll say one this book has that most of them don't: more than halfway decent writing

I stg need me some skinny alien bois to balance out the HEFT and the BEEF and the MOSCLE most of them seem to have??? body diversity ain't just a thing on Earth I'm sure of it
