On June 3, 2016, Ali would pass away at the age of 74 due to respiratory illness. Ali's death effected millions around the world. He wanted his memorial service to be opened to everyone. People ike Bill Clinton, Will Smith, Sugar Ray Leonard, and other showed up to pay their respect to Muhammad Ali.

Ali would finally retire anf focus on his personal life. He would convert to Sunni Islam. In 1984, Ali would be diagnosed with Parkison's disease. Ali had the honor of lighting the Olympic Torch in 1996 at Atlanta, Georgia.

Ali would have his third and final bout with Jow Frazier. Ali won because Joe's conner threw in the towel. After that match, Ali retired for 3 years before he would come back and lose to Leon Spinks in Febuary of 1978. 7 months later, Ali would beat Spinks to regain his campionship.

Ali would push harder to regain his heavyweight title. He would go on to win his next 10 matches including one where he had a broken jaw.

Muhammad Ali would change his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. He decided to change it because he said "Cassius Clay is a slave name". "I didn't choose it and I don't want it. I'm Muhammad Ali, a free name...". Ali would have his heavyweight championship taken from him by the WBA because of his membership with the Nation of Islam. Ali face a 5 year prison term because of a felony draft evasion charge.
