Oh come on! I’ve said this book feels outdated already, despite being published in 2014. But using the T word, and also using trans guys as a sub-section to lesbians?! NO! STOP.

Like I mentioned before: The language in this book hasn't aged well, and through today's lense, it reads as transphobic. If I were to take a positive spin on it, I guess we can say it's great that so much has changed in the few years that have passed since 2014, when this book was released.

This book... Hasn’t aged that well. It surprises me a bit, since it was released as late as 2014. It has so far been very exlusionary towards orientations other than straight and lesbian, doesn’t seem aware that ace/aro people exist at all, and the same goes for trans people. Siigh. Also, the feminist ”newsflashes” read through a 2021 filter, already feel old and dusty. Oh well.
