Finished the book, and I loved it. The perspective was so different than any book I have ever read. I was happy that their was a happy ending, and it was interesting to see that Ma and Jack went back to Room one last time to say goodbye and to give Jack closure that he feels that he needs.

Jack and Ma were just taken to a psychiatric hospital to check if they are alright from their recent escape from Room. Jack wants to go back to room because it is all he has ever known. It is interesting to see how Jack adjusts to many new things that he's never had to deal with, such as grass, bugs, and new people. As the chapter goes on Jack gets more used to and interested in the real world.

This part of the book is all about finally escaping from Room. The reader can really notice how difficult it is for Jack to understand life outside of Room, and it is very interesting that he wants to go back. It is intriguing to see the different views and memories Ma and Jack have of Room. To Jack, it was everything he has ever known. To Ma, it was the worst place she's ever been. I can't wait to see whats next.

In this chapter Ma starts to explain to Jack about the outside world. The world is such a surreal concept to this little boy who has lived his whole life surrounded by four walls. Jack does not believe his mom because the room is all he has ever known, and anything he sees in the television is 'fake'. It is watch to see Ma's decision to tell Jack about the outside world unfold. Cant wait to see whats next!

The first chapter really explores the relationship between Ma and Jack. Living in a small room Jacks whole life, it's his whole world, and Ma has to make important decisions whether to tell him about the outside world. This book is very intriguing expecially from Jack's perspective.. It make it simpler, less disturbing, and I think it was a great choice to make him the narrator.
