So, someone is missing an ear. Someone is partial deaf. Someone hit a kid with their car. There's a lot of stuff going on and not sure what it adds to the story really. So far, it just feel like it's been thrown in randomly to stress how everyone is hard done by some way. I guess.

Wait. Didn't she just elaborate on how the starts have to align just right and she has to be wearing a certain outfit to pinch a wallet. And yet, she just stole one and it feels like it wasn't really following her "rules."
