Although I'm only half way through, my novel looks worn...already thick with 'dog-ears' and highlighted passages.
I must admit, I took me quite a while to get into the rythem of this book...i felt like I was wading though a thick soup of description...and what fabulous descriptions they are. White's world is a slice of Australia post WW2, set in outer Sydney in a suburb called 'Sarsaparilla'. ...more to come
