Currently at Chapter 20.
The writing style of Clara Coulson is right up my alley and I enjoyed reading Shade Chaser so far. But boy, even for a fantasy book the injuries are way over the top. I mean, Cal was tortured for days, but runs and fights like it's just a minor inconvenience. Even fear and adrenaline cannot explain that away.
Why is he so stubborn, doing what he wants, despite what he is told by superiors?
