Ryan's characterisation is all over the place. Marcus is perfect, blah blah. Their attraction seems forced, which of course makes everything romance-related contrived.

One page away from being dropped, the story has found another leg (y'know, aside from the custody thing) to stand on: Marcus is famous, and apparently Ryan doesn't like social media (I'm with you, girl).

Should I continue to struggle, I wonder.

Hero says something suggestive.
“She was definitely awake now.”
A few sentences later:
“…still sleepy and disoriented…”
Just so heroine could stumble and let the hero hold her…?

IDK, but I'm seriously not caring for the narrative in this one.

Some issue with the flow. I'm having a hard time getting into the story and the characters. Ryan seems like my kind of heroine; it's just that there's something about the writing that's throwing my connection with her off…
