This book was amazing. A fantastic modern pulp. As much parody as it is high-praise homage for the sword and planet novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Nathan Long takes on the flaws and issues of the genre head-on, adapting and playing with them for contemporary adventure readers. This proves that great adventure pulps could come back in a big way!
