Great book to learn more about slavery and the history of people of colour. You'll understand the reason and urgency of the Black Lives Matter movement better.

This book outrages me. Not because it is bad, but because of how barbaric white people were to slaves: whipping till slaves bleed, taking children from slaves and selling the children. Teenage girls are sexually and physical assaulted by their "master". I loath these people.
