What a twisty one. Phew!
Finito and reading the author's note now.
This story is certainly NOT what I've thought it would be.

I am proud to say I got through it in one piece. And I am going to watch some movies on peeps buried alive later.

Answering the Author's Note:
I am relieved the author didn't go with his initial idea for a silly ending. As the ending now brought a whole new meaning to this story with important message to share. I would discussed more about the ending in my review later. I have much to say about it.

This story made me speculate a LOT. A whole lot! This is a very good thing especially for a mystery horror book.

Maybe I should consider the idea of carrying a small sharp tool - small enough to be hidden on my body.... just in case of unfortunate screwed situation like what happened to the protagonist here. He had no way out except a very slow agonising death.

Author has infused the flashbacks with hallucination. The effect is quite good. I could feel the suffocation of claustrophobia the author tried to project to the readers.

The story has flashbacks in it but it was handled really well by the author. No confusion caused. I quite like all these reflection done by the protagonist. In this story, the flashbacks help move the story and creates interest along the way.
