Hi Michelle. Great book. Yep, I'm working on it day by day during lunch, so it'll take a few weeks to get all the way through and 99 is just the last page I got to. :-) It's a very quick read. I've enjoyed it so far. Very honest and real, so much so that it makes me uncomfortable when I read it but in a good way--uncomfortable because it's effective in putting the reader into the narrator's shoes!

That was exactly how I felt when I was reading your book. I'd never felt such a powerful connection with a male character before as I did with your character when he was at his lowest point as an actor. I thought about it for days. I still think about it now and then because it made me reflect on his life and I felt something for this guy that I am nothing like. The gift you have for writing is what makes it possible to touch the hearts of others through the power of storytelling. That's also a sign of good writing. Bummer if you feel awkward reading it at lunch, but I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
