Michelle Hey, John, I see you are reading my book. That's an interesting place to stop, on page 99...

John Herrick Hi Michelle. Great book. Yep, I'm working on it day by day during lunch, so it'll take a few weeks to get all the way through and 99 is just the last page I got to. :-) It's a very quick read. I've enjoyed it so far. Very honest and real, so much so that it makes me uncomfortable when I read it but in a good way--uncomfortable because it's effective in putting the reader into the narrator's shoes!

Michelle That was exactly how I felt when I was reading your book. I'd never felt such a powerful connection with a male character before as I did with your character when he was at his lowest point as an actor. I thought about it for days. I still think about it now and then because it made me reflect on his life and I felt something for this guy that I am nothing like. The gift you have for writing is what makes it possible to touch the hearts of others through the power of storytelling. That's also a sign of good writing. Bummer if you feel awkward reading it at lunch, but I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
