Attn: Hansard Staff From: Director
Due to recent critical comments in the House concerning the use of (inaudible), also because of questions put to me, it is my decision today's Hansard will be transcribed differently. Transcribers are not to edit anything out except coughing & laughter. If a member repeats a word, phrase, sentence two or more times, makes a mistake and corrects it, transcribe it EXACTLY do not fix.

Speaker, is this minister content to sit and do nothing while the people of this Province are beaten, burned, robbed, raped, and killed in her sight? Does she want to be a Minister of Justice or a chamberlain in the court of misrule?

Due to today's sudden call of the election which caught everyone by surprise you are able now to focus attention on the style book..it is anticipated it will be completed in time for the First Session of the next Assembly..there will be some resistance to change, however as you've already dealt with the transcribers, two editors should be so much easier to reconcile.

M1:As far as the government mechanisms, regulations, stipulations, policies and philosophies go, government assembles these and takes crucial decisions..due to a minister's recommendations arising from intra/interdepartmental consultations and practices, shaping policies so that these adhere to the essentials outlined in general.
M2:Clarify the rationale here?
M1:I don't personally have a rationale for anything--

I've avoided speaking to the Director...it was the right thing to do, but being right isn't the important thing. What's done can't go unpunished...The Director used the shield of Hansard as a sword against us...An admirable principle but still not the right thing to do...advisable to not make things easy for Hansard if they are looking for anything...as a lesson [to the House] it failed.

..be listening to my speech because it's going to be the best...the best because it's going to be the shortest...the best because there is the least to it...the Leader believes that he is the best speaker because he is pontificating all day quoting Hamlet...he is too conceited to admit his pompousness...too bad he never suffers shortness of breath...she is the most useless thing over there, like that old joke...

I instructed the Hansard Director to remove the offending bread machine. Chamber is not Hansard staff kitchen and they aren't meant to treat the workplace as home. In a few days the matter will not be as fresh in their minds.
From:Speaker
To:Clerk
I'm glad the machine is gone because it created a noticeable smell. Let the Director be mollified by what looks like an apology--keep staff quiet

"The economic conditions make it unfeasible, Speaker, for additional staff to be hired. The Province is frangible, subject to a shaky influx of finances...the over-extension of personnel is necessary,...doing the equivalent duties with a slightly different focus through a markedly singular answering module pointed in a new direction...we're doing something about it, we hope to announce what by the end of the year."

Speaker, this govt. has always optionalised where possible to provide a variety of outlets or accessing means to answers for social problems, and in this open-ended attitude certain possible scenarios may be used or realised or positivised in a manner ensuring a beneficial outcome. Govt. reacts to the Panel affirmatively and my remarks concerning the proposed measures need little elaboration.
