Made it to part two. I like the development of the narrative, but I'm struggling with the fact that everyone hates the main character. It's hard to accept.

Perfect stopping point. The protagonist is definitely dealing with a multitude of issues in the realm of moral ambiguity. And the political, economic and social system of the ship is to be considered alongside Bartolomeau's loyalty to the captain, while he makes his decisions.

Narrative seems pretty rushed, but I am particularly satisfied with Russo's ability to branch around my expectations.
