omg obsessed with how stupid the mc is, everyone is like “dont go to the castle, here take this crusafix and rosaries and don’t travel tonight because it’s the one night of the year when the ghoulies come out” and he just thinks “omg this town is sooo quaint 😍 the locals are so silly 😂😂”

was really enjoying it, the vampire stuff is so cool and its really fun to see where the (sort of) beginning of modern vampire mythos comes from. However, i had to put this book down to complain about how BORING and ANNOYING the women are omg!!! Its like Bram Stoker put in every stereotype about women- they wont shut up, they’re gossipy, they’re boy obsessed etc. very mad abt it 😡😡
