Percy Jackson war auf deutsch auch sehr gut, kann ich nur empfehlen. Ist zwar ne Weile her dass ich es auf deutsch gelesen habe, aber es hat mir echt gut gefallen. Die Übersetzerin hat grandiose Arbeit geleistet (finde sogar die Haikus in Apollo auf deutsch besser als im Original)

danke für die Empfehlung! ehrlich gesagt, Percy Jackson könnte sogar besser sein, weil ich HP so oft gelesen habe, dass ich mich noch an ganze Sätze erinnern kann... sag mir wenn du andere Empfehlung hast!

It’s been a while since I’ve read anything in German, so this is what 13ish year old me read and enjoyed: Die Tribute von Panem, Rubinrot and Silber.
1) Hunger Games, don’t remember if the translation was anything special. But I also did not pay attention to that back then or read in any way critically, soo...my opinion might change if I reread it today but I think the translation was decent
2) Rubinrot, first part in a trilogy, written by Kerstin Gier, originally German. I enjoyed it a lot back then, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Straight teenage romance drama time travelers. Xemerius ist the best though. Love that gargoyle demon. Cracked me up every time.
3) Silber, also by Kerstin Gier, originally German. Also straight teenage romance but with the ability to visit people in their dreams.

Oh und ich habe damals Taco und Kaninchen gelesen. Das sollte vom Leselevel recht leicht sein, ist ein Kinderbuch in einer Reihe von 6 Büchern. Kann mich aber auf Teufel komm raus nicht an die Handlung erinnern und müsste das nochmal lesen bevor ich es wirklich empfehlen kann. Ich weiß echt nicht mehr worum es ging, nur dass ich die Geschichte damals in der sechsten Klasse richtig gut fand.
Und ich hab im gleichen Zeitraum Verbotene Welt gelesen. Das war ein wenig wild 😂 ich glaube ich kann nicht erzählen worum es geht ohne zu spoilern aber die Geschichte war schon ein bisschen strange 😂 könnte ich auch nochmal lesen

ohmy, thanks for all the recs, i'm totally marking them down ❤ (and yes, i'm switching to english too bc it's getting late-ish and my german gets progressively worse as the day goes on...) but! i just have to say, it totally cracked up at rubinrot bc i read that book when i was... 14ish? and i don't even remember anything about the story only that the ending of the trilogy made me soooo mad that a friend and i still use that book as an example for bad endings... even today 😂😂 but now i'm kinda curious why i hated it so much, so I might just give it a re-read in german. for scientific reasons
