I honestly thought this would be too hard for me to read because I have trouble being adept enough at reading for heavily academic texts. But since I've read a lot of the cited works, I'm grasping it well. It's also stylistically well written.

Holy shit I hope Jim Gorant regrets the super racist way he discussed Vick and portrayed pit bull rescue. Can we talk about other animals in a way that actually helps them wholesale instead of shitting on an entire group of marginalized humans that includes a ton of pibble lovers and carers?
