So far it’s a good solid 3 stars but nothing is pulling me in deeply to the story. Slightly “after school special” which I get w/ the time period it was writen. It’s interesting to see how women are seen in this time. Laurie is my favorite character & the amount of times they say “gay” & “queer” makes me laugh and feel like they wrote in an inside joke that doesn’t make sense until the 21st century
