A dauntingly large book.
It only took 2 chapters to get me hooked.
The style of writing is long, but not long winded. It's a long story, with epic and sweeping scenery, so the style is quite fitting.
Definitely takes a commitment though, but the effort is rewarded with beautiful prose that takes you thru forgotten cultures and places... so far.
